Thanks to all who braved the cold last night and made it out to our show at The Gutter!!  We've never had so many people dance to our music, and we are still smiling ear-to-ear today.  It was a great reminder of why we play music.  Without you all, there would be no Slack Tide, so from the bottom of our hearts:  Thank you!!!

Big Shoutout to everyone who made it down to our Long Beach Hurricane Sandy fundraiser at Cannon's Blackthorn in Rockville Centre.  We had an absolute blast and were excited to play a whole bunch of cover songs for the first time as a band.  Thanks to you guys, we raised over $8,000 for Hurricane Victims.  You should all be very proud!!

Looking forward to playing at Don Pedro in East Williamsburg on Thursday night!!  Come on down and join us as we play with our drummer Tommy Walsh's other band, The Feverbreakers.  It's going to be a great night.

Hey fans... it has been a while since we last posted.  Like many of you, we have spent the past few weeks cleaning, gutting, mopping, drying and discarding.  While most of us have our power back, the recovery effort in our hometown of Long Beach is far from over.  In fact, for most, it is only the beginning.  Hurricane Sandy brought on more devastation than Long Beach has ever seen, but at the same time it has also brought us together in many unexpected ways.  As we stood outside our houses staring at the memories piling up on our sidewalks, we witnessed those who had already finished cleaning walk up and down their blocks, asking the neighbors if they needed an extra hand.  At night, we sat around fires and candlelight with our drinks in hand, laughing, crying, and laughing some more, talking about how we will rebuild the community stronger than ever.
